MID-ATLANTIC TECH BRIDGE
The NavalX Mid-Atlantic Tech Bridge (MATB), headquartered in Norfolk, VA — home of the world’s largest Naval station — is a Hampton Roads-based super connector that enables collaboration across boundaries to develop better, faster, and less expensive solutions for Sailors and Marines.
How We Work
We ignite the regional innovation ecosystem between the Dept. of the Navy, industry, academia — as well as state and local government — to speed development and transition of solutions that increase Naval capabilities.
The MATB is a cooperative partnership between a number of Naval labs and organizations. We also have a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) with 757 Accelerate in the Hampton Roads area to help fuel outreach. That relationship helps us host events and meetings at our headquarters in downtown Norfolk within Assembly, an iconic campus and community that is open to the public. Together, we partner with necessary command offices to accelerate the speed and relevance of Technology Transfer and Transition efforts.
