The Capital Tech Bridge in Bethesda, MD, encompasses a vibrant innovation ecosystem for the Navy and Marine Corps, partnering with Naval warfare centers and national labs to solve complex problems for Sailors and Marines.
How We Work
Our goal at the Capital Tech Bridge is to facilitate large-scale industry and academic engagements in easily accessible, off-base facilities throughout the National Capital Region (NCR). Drawing on the talents of the regional industrial base, academia, and government partners, we enable research and development partnerships that accelerate tech development and delivery for the Dept. of the Navy.
Our mission to connect to Navy and USMC programs for requirements and user feedback helps the services more quickly develop dual-use technologies that meet national defense needs. At the same time, our efforts enhance the region’s economic strength through novel commercial products — and next generation STEM professionals.
