MIDWEST TECH BRIDGE
The Midwest Tech Bridge — located in Crane, IN — unifies a vibrant innovation ecosystem that is aligned to Navy and Marine Corps interests. Through collaboration, we are serving to accelerate development and transition of technology to Department of Defense (DoD) end users.
How We Work
Located on the world’s third largest Naval installation, the Midwest Tech Bridge operates in partnership with Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) at the crossroad of mission sets with nearby Air Force and Army Research Laboratories.
Our connections with joint partners, plus a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) with the Applied Research Institute, Inc. (ARI), grant us broader reach and support for projects across the region. With collaborative workshops and problem-solving events in Crane and nearby in Bloomington — and the support of local and state governments as well as industry partners — we are continuing the work to grow our region’s innovation ecosystem together.
