AUSTIN TECH HUB
Established in March 2024, the Austin Tech Hub drives U.S. Navy innovation by connecting the Austin, greater Texas, and U.S. South Central innovation ecosystems to the national NavalX Tech Bridge network.
How We Work
The Austin Tech Hub expands the reach of the NavalX Tech Bridge network. With no direct partnership with a Navy Warfare Center or Lab, it functions as a connector between Austin and the whole of the Navy enterprise to include the national Tech Bridge network, Navy operational and ashore commands, and the Navy Staff. Locally, the Tech Hub acts as a tech scout and assists local industry and organizations through curated events, activities, and introductions with relevant Navy, DoD, and governmental organizations.
Located in the Capital Factory, the Austin Tech Hub shares its office with DIU, AFWERX, and MIU and is adjacent to the Army Applications Laboratory. It’s the only place in the United States where the major DoD innovation organizations are all operating together, allowing the Austin Tech Hub to access the full spectrum of DoD innovation capabilities.
